Dear Dr. Davis,

I would like to send you as the Chief Coordinator of the Hinode satellite 
our HINODE/EIS,SOT,XRT proposal (PDF file).

I send the corresponding information also to the SSCs of EIS - Dr. Culhane, 
SOT - Dr. Berger, XRT - Dr. Golub). In case of the EIS I have submitted also
a detail description of the EIS observations we plan using the provided template.
The DEF file was sent to Dr. Culhane as well.

I hope the enclosed PDF proposal file will give you all relevant information you need 
to consider our application. In case of any question please feel free to contact me 
via email (choc@astro.sk).

Generally we have been granted by 4 weeks of the DOT observing time (3-31/8/2007).
For this instrument we ask for both SOHO and Hinode support. Unfortunately
SOHO support is impossible after Aug 17 due to the SOHO keyhole. Until that
date we are on the SOHO calendar as the SOHO JOP 189 but later no support is
possible.

Therefore we ask for almost 2 weeks of the Hinode support during morning UT time when
seeing conditions for DOT at La Palma are the most favorable. We understand that 
there are many other applications appearing so we probably will get much less
that we ask for. Nevertheless we hope you and your colleagues will find our proposal
interesting and we will get some Hinode support. It is especially crucial
for us after Aug 17 when SOHO keyhole start and therefore there is no change
to get CDS or MDI support.
