Abstract: Quasi-periodic oscillations (QPOs) are rapid variations in brightness of cataclysmic variables (CVs). They are most probably caused by a magnetically excited wave in the accretion disc. No spectroscopic observations of these phenomena have been published yet. We will attempt to carry out both photometric and spectrophotometric time-resolved observations of a QPO. Observations will be carried out with two telescopes at the same time - one of the telescopes is working with an objective prism, handling spectroscopic data. The second one is used for photometry.
